2nd Grade Leaf Pictures

I am now in a second grade class. The other day, the teacher asked me to collect leaves for an art project. She was also going to collect some and then we brought them back and pressed them. We looked at a picture book where they had made different animals out of leaves. Then, we made our own. It was a fun project...one that I will definitely do as a teacher.
These were two of my favorite results. I didn't get pictures of all of them. Above, we have a parrot and below a butterfly! The kids were SO creative. I loved them!
I had this boy in my 5th grade class and now I have his little sister. They are such a cute family. He comes and picks her up everyday.
